2. Condiciones de uso y acceso
This “Legal Notice” regulates the use of the Citizen’s Notarial Portal of the GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES (hereinafter, “the Website”) made available to Users.
The use of the Website and its contents grants the status of User (hereinafter, “the User”) and implies acceptance of all the conditions included in this Legal Notice, in the version published at the time of access. The User undertakes to make diligent use of the Website, in accordance with the Law and this Legal Notice. The User must carefully read this Legal Notice each time they intend to use the Website, as the conditions of use may be subject to modifications.
Access to the Website is free of charge, except for the cost of connection through the telecommunications network provided by the User’s contracted access provider.
The GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES reserves the right to interrupt, at any time and without prior notice, access to the Website, as well as to interrupt the provision of any or all of the services offered through it, whether for technical, security, maintenance, power supply failure or any other reason. Such interruption may be temporary or permanent.
The GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES does not guarantee the reliability and availability of its Website, and therefore the use of the Website by the User is carried out at their own account and risk.
The use of the password is personal and non-transferable. The User undertakes to use it diligently and to keep it secret, assuming full responsibility for the consequences of its disclosure to third parties.

The purpose of this Website is to make known to all Users the information regarding the services offered by the Citizen’s Notarial Portal of the GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES, and it may modify at any time and without prior notice the design, presentation or configuration of the Website, as well as its contents.
4. Data Collection Forms
The use of certain services or requests to the GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES may be conditional upon the prior completion of the corresponding User registration through forms.
All information provided by the User through the Website forms for these purposes or any others must be truthful. To this effect, the User guarantees the authenticity of all the data communicated and will keep the information provided up to date, being responsible for any false or inaccurate information provided and for the damages caused to the GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES.

All information contained on this Website, as well as the graphic design, images, source codes, trademarks, trade names, designations, articles, reports, etc., are subject to the intellectual and industrial property rights of the GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES or third parties.
Under no circumstances shall access to the Website imply any waiver, transfer, assignment or license of said intellectual or industrial property rights, nor shall it confer any right of use, translation, adaptation, alteration, exploitation, reproduction, distribution or public communication, for commercial purposes, of said contents without the prior and express authorization of the GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES or the third party holder of the affected rights. The User’s rights to view and obtain a copy in the User’s computer cache memory, as a transient and incidental reproduction, are reserved, provided that under no circumstances is it authorized to communicate it to third parties.
The infringement of any of the aforementioned rights may constitute a violation of these provisions, as well as a crime punishable under Articles 270 and following of the Spanish Criminal Code.
7. Liability
The GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES shall not be held liable in the event of service interruptions, delays, errors or malfunctions that originate from causes beyond its control or due to intentional or negligent actions of the User, or due to force majeure. Force majeure causes include failures of third parties, operators or service companies, lack of access to third-party networks, acts or omissions of public authorities, acts resulting from natural phenomena, blackouts, etc., and attacks by hackers or third parties specialized in the security or integrity of the computer system, provided that the GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES has adopted all existing security measures according to the state of the art.
In any case, whatever the cause, the GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES shall not assume any liability, whether for direct or indirect damages, consequential damages and/or loss of profit.
The GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES is not responsible for the contents and opinions of third parties posted on its Website nor for the information contained on third-party web pages that can be accessed through links or search engines of the Website, as their function is solely to inform the User of the existence of other sources of information on the subject on the Internet, where the information provided on this Website can be expanded. Therefore, the GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES shall not be responsible for the results obtained through such hypertext links.
When accessing third-party web pages through search engines or links, the GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES acts as a provider of intermediation services in accordance with Article 17 of Law 32/2002, of July 12, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, and will only be responsible for the contents and services provided on the linked sites to the extent that it has actual knowledge of their illegality and has not disabled the link with due diligence.When accessing third-party web pages through search engines or links, the GENERAL COUNCIL OF NOTARIES acts as a provider of intermediation services in accordance with Article 17 of Law 32/2002, of July 12, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, and will only be responsible for the contents and services provided on the linked sites to the extent that it has actual knowledge of their illegality and has not disabled the link with due diligence.
